"I should have read the reviews before booking however it was worth it for the price. This is an older hotel not too many upgrades. Also, the TV did not work properly."

"We did not eat at the hotel, but the rooms were great as was the staff we interacted with. It is very convenient to any downtown activity and we had a great view of the fireworks show after the Astros game! The only criticism I have is that the elevators are VERY slow. But, I would love to stay there again."

"This hotel is older but the parking lot is well lit with plenty of spaces andthe hotel had security. Staff kept the breakfast refilled with all the usual items found at ihg express. We did not use the pool or hot tub. Our first room had a leak underneath the bathroom sink so we changed rooms but neither room had much water pressure. This location was within walking distance of what we wanted to do downtown so it worked well for us."

"Breakfast needs to be addressed at this property. Since there is an added fee for breakfast, the menu should be at least as good as at other Holiday Inn properties where the breakfast is free. We stayed at this property for four nights and oatmeal was not available for every morning. The cinnamon rolls that are common at other Holiday Inns were never present at this one. "
