Beautiful resort in the mountains. The night reception & bartender (originally from Poland) was so nice, friendly and informative! Bar had an extensive selection of akvavit! Breakfast was superb. Very neat lounge too.

Easter weekend at Hovdestøylen

My family spent 4 nights at Hovdestøylen over the Easter long weekend. We had a 3-bedroom unit in a wing next to the main hotel that was modern and well equipped. A cross-country ski trail runs right past the hotel, and the downhill ski centre is about a 5 min drive away. Parking can be a little crowded during the après-ski hours but we always managed to find a place. Nice bar area with large screen TV, fireplace and shuffleboard. Very friendly service in the bar/restaurant and at reception.
