"Definitely a very laid back resort. The staff was super friendly and professional. Restaurant food was not always 5 star quality. But everything else about the resort was definitely 5 star!! Maybe have some type of musical entertainment or a fun vibe of music playing. "

"The room was large and spotless. Refrigerator worked well. Staff helped me to book a scuba trip and checked on me regularly to see if I needed anything. The bed was really comfortable. It took me a minute to figure out that the hot water in the shower was really hot and you had to use the cold water to give it pressure, but is was heaven after a long scuba day. I spent a lot of time in the hammock on the porch. Perfect location in the middle of the walking area of Placencia. "

"The room was ok. I had to remind them to clean the room on the days it was supposed to be cleaned. For the cost, there were better options with more amenities at the same or lesser cost. The a/c leaked on our head one night, and when I went to the front desk, nothing was done. The rain one night came into the room through the glass door. Again reported it and nothing was done."

"This is a very nice small boutique hotel near the beach. The only compliant I had was about communication with their staff. I had spoken twice with their staff to request help with scheduling a taxi to the airport and was told it was confirmed. However on the day of my departure there was none scheduled. The staff on duty didn't know anything about it. I had to wait for a taxi to be called and this could have caused me to miss my flight. "

"We stayed in the Namaste Room (upper level, ocean view, 2 hammocks, comfortable seating). It was wonderful. Breakfast was perfect and appreciated. We stayed for 3 nights. Levi helped us with our luggage from the main street down the sidewalk - and drove us to our next hotel in the village. Owners were very responsive to messages. Highly recommend. "

"Sargassum seaweed lines the beaches throughout the Carribean and this beach is no exception. Also, sand flies and mosquitoes were prevalent in this area, requiring nets over the bed to sleep at night. The property was nice, but very expensive. "
