"Perfect lovely place owners and staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble The room/chalet was large and spotless they thought of every comfort it had a fridge and air-con as well which was welcome they are dog friendly too it’s a perfect place to visit all around I’m now planning my next visit it’s so reasonable in price and if you have a good appetite this is the place the food was excellent "

"Standard room was in fact tiny, with a v small double bed, which was also damn uncomfortable. Rubbish mattress. No bulb in bedside lamp. The kids twin room was a good size. Breakfast was a bit slow getting going, and they were pretty forgetful bringing the toast we requested. Cooked breakfast looked good. Coffee average."

"Large bedroom and recently modernised en-suite. All clean and tidy. Nice and warm (4 day stay in January). Breakfasts were excellent and the food available for the evening meals in the pub part of the hotel was also good. All of the staff were warm, friendly and helpful. The car park is big. Breakfast does not start until 7.30am. You order it from the menu the night before and it was always ready for 7.30 for me, but I was there on business it left me quite tight for getting to my meeting...
