"It was a good experience and cam clos to the real thing abroad. We are a bit spoilt having stayed in some superb lodges in South Africa and Botswana but the "safari" experience staying in the Aspinall Foundation Port Lympne parki was reasonably close to what you would find in Africa. Very rewarding to hear how all animals in captivity are born and bred in this enviroment with none being brought in from the wild. "We stayed for one night in early September as attending a wedding at local church so did not spend much time at the House. Lovely area with adjacent pub on the green. The venue was opened earlier this year, purpose build and is very clean with good size room and excellent facilities. Lovely hosts, great breakfast. We would go there again if visiting the area or maybe as a good base to catch train across channel."
