"Breakfast was very good. Thank you. However, I wish they would use (washable) dishes and cutlery instead of paper and plastic utensils. Very disturbing to see huge garbage receptacles full of plastic and cardboard which will end up as landfill. I stayed at The Comfort Inn in Sturgeon Falls last fall and they had already ditched the paper and plastic. Thank you. Jon Dundon "

"The hotel was ok for just one night. The hotel is dated. Fan didnt work in the bathroom. Hallways dark with old carpet. Hotel shuttle was good."

"We booked this room few weeks ago over phone with staff very helpful. It seemed expensive over $150 simple rm arriving after midnight & leaving 1st thing next am but provided shuttle. Once checked in so exhausted dropped our bags & wanted to crawl in bed & sleep had to get early am flight unfortunately pulled back covers & discovered blood drops on side of mattress. It definitely wasn't from us nor was it spilled wine. immediately informed night manager, asked for a new room, was informed fully booked but would replace the sheets we helped, next morning wanted shower no water pressure & no shampoo, opened patio curtains noticed the door had been unlocked on the ground level. Upon check out, i spoke with the day manager who had housekeeping join, they were shown the pic of the blood on the mattress. Housekeeping stated the blood was fresh & it wasn't there when they cleaned rm it wasn't their fault & nothing they would do said we had created the situation, the manager said he would give me a free breakfast or 20% discount but no apology. I've worked in the hospitality industry most life, I know how hard it is, and we all have our bad days sometimes things get overseen or mistakes happen but would acknowledge/admit it and do something to correct it But to stand in front of the customer & deny all accountability to say we did this? I will NEVER stay at comfort inn again! A little common courtesty & RESPECT would've gone a long way!! "
