"The stay was great! Very friendly hosts that went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The only thing I'd say is to be sure you plan ahead if you will rely on public transportation, as bus schedules can be limited on weekends/evenings. Additionally, securing a rideshare can be difficult as well due to the remote location. However, if you speak German, it's rather easy to call the RMV to reserve busses after hours, but you must do so 60 minutes in advance :) Overall a great experience and would stay again!"

"The property is amazing and the rooms are spacious and extremely clean and comfortable. The corridors and the landings are in contrast with the rooms and seem a little outdated. The grounds are also very nice although all the focus is especially dedicated to the golf course. The spa was enjoyable with two nice indoor and outside (small) pools. However, we found that for a 4 stars « superior » hotel certain aspects could be improved, in particular in regards to service and food options. It lacked personable service and no particular interest was taken in showing us or explaining where things were in the hotel (ie. we had to explore and find all the amenities ourselves) or what was on the menu (which was written in German) or recommending good options for children (ie. We ended up with very spicy sauces on burgers for children and no one mentioned that perhaps we should choose an alternative sauce for the kids). Just little things that would actually bring this amazing hotel to its 4 stars rating as it felt the structure was worth the stars but not the service. "
