"I had a very pleasant stay here during my trip to Portugal. The space was very clean, comfortable, and felt safe throughout my stay. I especially appreciated the amenities provided — there was a dishwasher and a washing machine with laundry pods available, which was incredibly convenient because I was able to do my laundry during my trip. The kitchen also had plates, glasses, and pots available for use. The only small downside was that there were no utensils, but this was a very minor issue...

"The breakfast selection was excellent and the service was wonderful. The hotel itself looked old and needing paint updates from the outside but once inside it was well kept, clean, noticeably updated and nicely decorated. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. I’d like to note that seniors might find the bath tub a bit high to step into in order to shower. "Carlos was very helpful& gave us great restaurant recommendations& sights to see. The two rooms were great. Spotlessly Clean& we had room 1 ( the best) great new bathroom& beautiful ceilings. Room 2 had beautiful ceilings & much smaller bathroom so if your very tall ( my son 6 feet 7 inches) get bedroom 1 . Great beds & sheets. Breakfast wonderful. Beautiful gardens& a beautiful restored villa Location ideal& price is great. Guimares is a beautiful town & one of our favorite on our Portuguese...

"Beautiful property. We have stayed here before. Well located. Nice breakfast. Terrible omelets. Overcooked. Good amenities. The only bad thing is bathroom lighting. It is WAY to dark over mirror. The hand mirror did not light up. They need shower mats as shower is very slippery!"

"Close to historic site and restaurants. Excellent breakfast and the massage was good. Hotel bed, room, and bathroom is a good size. The downside is you’ll need to pay for spa services daily to use the pool. Hot tub is luke warm and the steam room could use eucalyptus or something to give it a spa feeling. Would be nice if pool access didn’t require a spa service. Also cap purchase required if you didn’t bring your own."

"Nice stay in a lovely hotel with parking, but do not pay for the breakfast. The breakfast was supposed to be a buffet, but due to low occupancy it was changed to a la carte. We were given a paper to fill out and return to the front desk with our breakfast choices. The breakfast was terrible! The toast were hard and cold, the bacon was not even warm and the "sausage" were mini weiners out of a can. Save the money and go to a local coffee shop for breakfast if you have the choice."

Le superbe, et très grand jardin est une surprise additionnelle, ainsi que la terrasse attenante où se prennent les petits déjeuners. L’hote Jose un descendant de la famille, qui possède le vignoble et la propriété parle couramment français et est d’une grande courtoisie. Enfin, ce qui ne gâte rien, le vinho Verde primé de la propriété est délicieux et très abordable."
