"Good location near to the pretty town Obidos, nice well kept property and a feeling of calmness. Good cold breakfast pre-ordered and laid out at a specified time. Unfortunately our arrival was on the day of the massive power outage that affected most of Europe, so normal dining facilities in the area were not available."

"What a gem of a place. Hosts Celine and Fabian were very friendly and accomodating. They have 3 rooms in a homestay with lovely continental breakfast, including fresh eggs, orange juice, bread, tea, coffee abd cereals. You can use the outdoor kitchen complete with bbq by the pool and they preapre bbq packs at an additional cost. Our room was the smallest of the 3 but we fitted in with 2 large suitcases and hand luggage no problem. Comfortable double bed, great power shower, small fridge, TV and...

"The location is great - walking distance to surf and restaurants, the space in the room we stayed in was good and had a private balcony and the common areas were generally clean. A couple of strange things - for somewhere that is a "shared house"/hostel type the people who work/"hosts" were very unfriendly, there were 2 females who wouldn't even acknowledge us during our stay (walking into the kitchen and wouldn't even make eye contact or make conversation - mind you I commented on their food...

"Our stay at Quinta Da Foz was amazing. Room was very clean. It's a beautiful centuries old traditional family home that really brings you back in time. The tour and attention Francisco provides is awesome. Breakfast is served by his mother at the family table with a lit wood burning fireplace. Loved our stay here."
