This is without doubt the ideal tropical retreat, no motorised vehicles just 46 beachside bungalows spread out around the perimeter of the island, which means that you can walk completely around the island on the beach in 15 minutes! This is the place to come if you want nothing more than water activities, sunbathing, eating, drinking and catching up on your favourite novels. The ratio of staff to guests is one to one although you may never see the majority as they are working behind the scenes...

Great place and staff was so friendly. Loved snorkeling everyday and easy access to the ocean from bungalow

It was our frst time visiting the Maldives and Baros lived up to everything we wished for. Being only 25 minutes by speed boat from the airport we wondered about aircraft noise but only seen 2 planes in 5 days and heard no noise. The staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough for you. We will definately go back again to Baros Island.

Perfect in every way

Great location in-between islands, about 25 minuets speedboat trip from airport. Welcome tea with iced towel was refreshing and helps sickness from the waves. Private beachfront villa is the best choice with its personal pool and a warm massage pool. The in-villa dining was not expensive with all kinds of options, kids and vegetarian friendly. One restaurant and a bar on the island could cover all your needs. Their steak from the grill was nice and juicy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was...

Room very nice big space and clean

What a wonderful experience at Thulhagiri island resort, stayed in a beach cottage for 15 days & could not fault anything. Exceptional beauty, clean beaches, pristine clear oceans, white sandy beaches, lots of greenery, lovebirds all over the trees...not to mention the excellent food buffets each day & the super friendly staff. Specially recommend the reservation staff, restaurant waiters & bar staff....they were all so friendly, cooperative & kind.Speed boat transfers were super efficient &...

Loved the Vllla , food and service. My only comment would to be have a little more evening entertainment.

Everything is superb from the speedboat at the airport, the hotel, the service and even the checkout.

Excellent holiday, great staff, very romantic and relaxing

We absolutely loved the resort. First is the location, it is only about 10 minutes from the airport. We were so happy as we got a free transfer to/from airport because island transfers can be expensive. Second the views from all parts of the property are just stunning. Third the food! We took the all inclusive package and wow the options they had were amazing. We were so full every time. Desserts are the highlight. Fourth the staff, very cooperative and very friendly. Fifth, the rooms! The villa...

First time on Bandos and won't be the last. Excellent holiday. Staff were wonderful. Great choice of food and drink on the all inclusive package. The island is pretty and well kept, and surrounding sea is crystal clear which makes snorkeling amazing.

I approached Oblu Ailafushi with some hesitation due to mixed reviews but was thoroughly charmed upon arrival. The resort's willingness to accommodate an early check-in for our family, especially with a young child in tow, was a relief and set a hospitable tone for our stay. The food was a highlight, offering a delectable spread of various cuisines, including exceptional local Maldivian dishes that deserve every bit of their 5-star rating. The buffet was a hit with both adults and children,...

Everything is good here stuff was nice and cooperative. Dining facilities are great. Rooms are nice sea views, water bungalows are awesome. Overall I recommend all to stay Sheraton full moon resort for at least once.

We stayed for 8 nights and had such a relaxing and enjoyable time. We stayed in a deluxe bungalow and it was a 5 second walk from the beach. The room was perfect and the outdoor shower amazing! Snorkelling with sharks was my favourite highlight.

Malahini is only a short boat trip away from airport which suited us really well. The island is quiet and our bungalow on the beach was great. Superb snorkelling straight off the beach. Staff and food very good and everything well organised

We visited Paradise Island for our honeymoon and we had the most incredible time. We stayed in one of the water villas for 10 days and dined at the lagoon restaurant where the staff were amazing - especially Iresha and Hari who made us feel like friends. Everything is incredibly clean and the location itself is breathtaking. The staff all go above and beyond to ensure you have the most memorable time and the facilities are great. We also attended the International Women's day lobster barbecue...

We chose Coco Bodu Hithi for the second part of our honeymoon. The place is amazing and has all you would expect from a luxury resort in the Maldives. Some of the staff was excellent, others were a bit slow. A few flaws, like e.g. payment upon arrival, the same playlist in the restaurant every day, a very poor guitarist... couldn't ruin the overall great experience we had. But be prepared to pay a lot for everything you do. And you have no alternative.

The review that persuaded me to book this hotel was the one which said something like 'I'm not a beach person but I loved this hotel'. Beautiful, peaceful, discreet, the attention to detail. L'occitane bathroom products, very comfortable bed, a shower and bathroom open to the warm air, delicious food in the restaurant (evening buffet concentrated on quality rather than quantity but there were still many choices). A most restful 3 days, one of the best hotels in 35 years of travelling.
