Excellent Place to Stay at Langleigh Guest House

Had a fabulous stay that Langleigh Guest House, Dave and Sue made my wife and myself very welcome and friendly. Highly recommend Langleigh Guest House to anyone staying at the ilfracombe area of North Devon.

There are so many thoughtful and personal touches in the family room that made our stay special. Our boys loved the toys in the room, the bubble bath is a small thing which also made a big difference to them because it made them feel at home. There were homemade biscuits and fudge in the room too. David is and excellent chef and the breakfast is first class. Finally, David and Suzie are very warm and welcoming hosts.

Best B&B I've stayed at! - Service was amazing, food was amazing and most of all the owners are so friendly! Truly amazing people and catered to both a young man and a couple with kids. A short nice summer walk to Sandy Cove and an absolute amazing area! I recommend this place to everyone! You will not be disappointed!

Fantastic! Best of the best!

It was the best of the best overall! We’ve immediately fallen in love with this guest house! The owners were very friendly and they have really amazing stories to tell! They sure are masters of conversation with huge amounts of kindness and humour. The breakfast was the best we ever had in England! Only high quality products and all were prepared with the most important “ingredient”.. with love! And you’ll taste the difference! Not lying: we arrived as guests, but we felt like being at home! Thank you, both - we will always remember you in our minds and hearts!

100% would return

We booked last minute (the morning of the day we intended to arrive) so we weren't expecting to find such a wonderful place to stay! We hit it off with Dave and Susie as soon as we met them which makes the stay all the more comfortable. The house is clean and well decorated, beautiful guest house and beautiful garden in such a pretty village. Lots of beautiful walking routes which we loved, we'll definitely visit again. Not to mention that Dave is a chef and even the scrambled eggs were the best we'd ever had! Breakfast really was exceptional and the hospitality was great! Fully recommend

Midweek break

We have stayed at the Langleigh Guest House on previous occasions and each time found everything to be perfect. The new owners are very welcoming and cannot do enough for you. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and bright. A nice touch was the packet of homemade biscuits to welcome you on the first night, delicious. A very comfortable bed and a good night sleep. Breakfast was well cooked and nicely presented, the home made granola is to die for!!! Situated in a tiny village within easy reach of Ilfracombe and neighbouring seaside towns or some lovely walks. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Amazing B&B. Bedroom spotless and very comfortable with lovely home made biscuits on our tray. Breakfast was excellent locally sources produce and home made bread, jams and granola. Our hosts were very kind and nothing was too much trouble.

Well this was our first ever stay in the village for some part business part leisure activity. We soon met david and Suzie and found the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble including an early and suzie insisted look around the rooms to find one suitable for someone of 6”4 ! It was like chatting to two mates and nothing like B & B hosts.plenty of extras more suited to 5* hotel. The view from the bedroom, peace and quiet and close proximity to the Village pub meant this place was perfect for two work weary northerners seeking some R & R. Finally the breakfast prepared by jame Oliver (David) was the best one we have ever eaten with top quality local produce. They even managed a cake, candles and card for my birthday -amazing! We will be back one way or another ??

Fantastic hosts who were extremely welcoming. The breakfast was superb with local produce, which had been promoted in their menu. The homemade strawberry jam was superb. We will be back if we need to stay in the area again. Thank you

Ideal setting for a peaceful break

Situated in a cosy village, the guest house is a wonderful find with lovely gardens and the perfect hosts, the room was clean and comfortable. And the breakfasts could only be described as fantastic with locally sourced produce.would highly recommend this guest house and would return at a moments notice.

A North Devon Gem

Perfect stay for this area of Devon. Superb hosts who know how to look after their guests, especially the smaller touches which make a difference such as having delicious home made biscuits as a welcome treat and things like a bath robe that you only normally get in plush hotels.

Superb stay here

Lovely little guest house, breakfast was beautiful really good quality produce used. Would definitely stay here again, the owners Suzie and David are lovely and could sit and listen to Davids career as a chef all day.
