Top Ilha Hotel Reviews

Barcelo Funchal Oldtown

Barcelo Funchal Oldtown

8/10 Good
"We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights and really enjoyed our stay. You can’t beat the location. The rooms are a bit small and to look at the view I needed to stand on a chair but I knew that when I booked it so all good. We enjoyed drinks at the restaurant and lived the live music. We used the rooftop pool almost daily and it’s great place to watch the sunset or look at the stars late at night. We would recommend it."

Frequently asked questions

Can I find holiday rentals in Ilha?

Yes, there are holiday rentals close to the most popular sights in Ilha, or you can select a more secluded option if you're looking for a relaxing stay.

What’s there to see and do in Ilha?

Explore the area and family-friendly sights such as CR7 Museum, or get out into nature at a spot like Laurisilva of Madeira. Pico Ruivo and Pico do Ariero are a couple of places you'll find in the wider area.

What’s a holiday rental in Ilha like?

Holiday rentals are private properties where you can stay for a few weeks, or just a few days, in Ilha. Holiday rentals feature amenities such as laundry facilities and kitchens so you'll have all the comforts of home. If you're concerned about cleanliness, holiday rentals can provide a sense of security away from public hotel lifts and bustling concierge desks while still allowing you the enjoyment of travel. You'll also have more space in a holiday rental than in a traditional hotel, which is another reason why a holiday rental is an attractive choice for a small group gathering.
