"A beautiful historic place to stay. Very clean. Breakfast was included with our stay and it was wonderful. The only thing is that because it is older, there isn't any AC. The staff were very kind to supply us with a fan. Overall a wonderful experience"

"Der Bademantelgang ist super. Das Personal hervorragend - besonders hier hervorzuheben sind die Damen der Rezeption! Es wurde dem Zimmerwunsch entsprochen. Tolles Frühstück! Das Personal war auch hier auf Zack und hat darauf geachtet, dass regelmäßig abgeräumt und aufgefüllt wurde. Mankos: 1) Keine Klimaanlage - wer hierauf Wert legt, dem wirds im Sommer warm auf dem Zimmer. Es wird mit einem installierten Türfliegengitter und Ventilator "abhilfe" geschaffen. Mir war bei 30 Grad...

"Stayed 2 nights. Was unaware this would be an apartment away from the gasthaus. No shower door or enclosure in the bathroom, just a shower area next to the toilet. Apparently had not been rented for sometime, lots of cobwebs and a few spiders."

"I had a wonderful stay here! The staff were very kind and accommodating. I stayed in the single economy room which was perfect for one solo traveler. Nice castle! Good location if you are exploring Franconia on bike or foot as there are trails throughout the countryside that go through various towns. Nice breakfast here that is free with coffee too!"
