"Location is good. Lots of ants and insects in the room. Host was welcoming. But be aware of food cost. Ask price before ordering. We order seafood dinner for three. He made combination of fish, calamari, tiny crabs and few shrimp and charged 50 dollars(water for drink). We paid as we did not ask before eating. Then he came back and ask 800 rupees for driver’s break fast. We paid. A minute later he came for driver’s accommodation cost. At that point we said, NO. We stayed 2 weeks in Sri Lanka....

"Firstly the owner couldn't find our booking. This would be fine, but he was just unhelpful in resolving this, and came across as rude and indifferent. He kept just saying "I haven't got any money from you" or "you should call the company you booked through" (like no you should). We kept asking for the Wi-Fi so we could try to resolve this and he just stood there, then took ages to get it. "This property is in the middle of nowhere so there it comes the magic. I can’t complain about slow and poor wifi or power issues since this isn’t a hotel but a home stay. The family hosting is among the best people you could ever meet, very attentive with guests and providing an excellent service and serving a tasty land grown food.
