The boat journey is exciting and comfortable despite being 8 hrs up river and 5 back. If lucky u meet the researchers and hear about their ingenious projects focused on the flora and fauna and the staff are attentive and wonderful as is the food.
We were up at 4.30 most mornings which is no sweat as u go to bed about 9 pm. The clay licks are disappointing this time of year as the Macaws come rarely and the smaller birds fear the hawks without the macaws on the lick...but the birds accumulate...

We totally LOVED staying here! We had a superior room and it was excellent, far exceeding my expectations of a jungle lodge. The mosquito nets are extremely good quality, so no worries about the bugs getting in and it was a unique experience sleeping in a room that was open to the jungle on one side. The whole lodge was beautifully built and very atmospheric after dark with the small lamps lit. Each part of our 3-day/ 2-night stay had different activities to do and we enjoyed them all. The...

Amazing stay, Refugio Amazonas is a beautiful lodge - you're guaranteed to have a wonderful time! The rooms are spacious and well presented, comfortable and airy as they are open to the rainforest. The lodge is very well run from collection at the airport to the time you leave - the manager Carlos has it running like clockwork. The guides are absolutely fantastic too, and each group will have someone dedicated to them for the duration of their stay - my wife and I had Boris who was brilliant and...

Yes, there are holiday rentals close to the most popular sights in Inambari, or you can select a more secluded option if you're looking for a relaxing stay.
What can I see and do in Inambari?
Reserva Nacional Tambopata and Tambopata National Reserve are a couple of lovely local spots to get outside and enjoy nature. Jungle Tower and Macaw Clay-Lick are other places to visit while you're in town.
What are holiday rentals like in Inambari?
Holiday rentals are privately owned properties you can book for a few days, or a quick weekend, in Inambari. Holiday rentals provide amenities like laundry facilities and kitchens so you'll have a home away from home. If you're concerned about cleanliness, holiday rentals can provide a sense of privacy away from public hotel lifts and busy front desks while still allowing you the enjoyment of travel. You'll also get more space in a holiday rental than in a hotel, which is another reason why a holiday rental is a popular choice for family trips.
