I expected it to appear like many La Quinta Inns I've stayed. But the carpeting was filthy, the hallways dingy and appeared unsafe, and the side door handle and lock mechanism were broken. The room did not have enough towels and toilet paper.

Got a call 5 minutes before check in at my original hotel I booked saying that can't honor giving me a room i already paid for and they were moving me to another hotel. This new hotel is very inconvenient for me and dirty and disgusting inside. Not sure why they switched me to this dump rather than compensating me with an equal or better room than I originally booked for my inconvenience. I was meeting friends at the other hotel and now at a different one away from all of them! Horrible ask the way around
