"We are so glad we chose the Alkima Hotel for our vacation to Athens! It was extremely close to everything which allowed us to walk to all the major sights we wanted to see. Although it is close to the center, it's in a less busy side street, making it quieter than other options. The rooftop pool and patio was beautiful, with stunning views of the Acropolis! We enjoyed breakfast on the patio each morning which was exceptionally presented, tasted fresh and traditional. It was a great way to start...

"Overall stay was great. Easy check in and the gentleman that checked me in asked if I wanted a review of all the amenities which was awesome. Much appreciated The rooms were great. The curtains helped to block out the light and had headphones in so I didn’t even notice when others came in. Beds were comfy and happy to have gotten two pillows!! You don’t get a room key, you use your phone but the wifi is great. Also a great view of the acropolis from the rooftop. Happy I booked in there...

"Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. There was water in the fridge, a coffee maker and hot pot. The hotel was located close to shops and restaurants. I liked that entrance to the hotel and room was just by an access code. Didn’t have to be concerned about losing a key or key card. "

"The property itself was good. The area it was around was a bit run-down and there was a lot of construction around. The area didn't necessarily feel the safest at night but the hostel itself was pretty clean and nice. The rooftop has a really good view of the Acropolis, it's beautiful at night! I booked an individual room, however felt like the sound-proofing was bad so was disrupted by late night hallway things."

"This is such a lovely hotel. The staff are excellent- very friendly and helpful. Our room had a balcony overlooking the street. Large room and bathroom. The breakfast had hot and cold foods (including Greek yoghurt and honey). The roof terrace is a must- in the eveving with the Acropolis lit up as a backdrop or during the day for a rest in the shade.
