"The lodge is beautiful in very peaceful area, it was very clean with everything we needed. We used it mainly for a base as we were traveling so only really slept there. The lodge is situated between 2 other properties and would benefit ( I’m my opinion) with blinds on all lower windows. The bed is very comfortable but a bit on the narrow side. "Hotel is in a lovely building, clearly been recently renovated and looks good, modern rooms and bathrooms. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Open fire in reception was lovely after a walk to the beach. Breakfast was good. Only complaints were that the room backed onto an extractor with a view of a metal roof and the pillows were quite thick"
