The view from our room was beautiful, we enjoyed the wildlife from the window in our room and the owners were fantastic! Our breakfast was delicious and they were beyond helpful with our directions as we left.

A lovely place to stay

We had a lovely two days at Foyers Bay Country House. Chris and Elly are amazing hosts who really care about providing their guests with an excellent experience. The location is quiet and beautiful with lots to see in the immediate vicinity. The rooms are lovely with plenty of amenities and outstanding views.

Awesome Foyers Bay Country House

Elly and Chris are amazing hosts. We stayed for 2 nights. The room was beautiful, cozy and warm. And the breakfast prepared by these two was delicious. I would not hesitate to stay with them again.

Wonderful hosts

What fabulous hosts Elly and Chris were. We couldn’t have had a more enjoyable stay. Lovely comfortable room, food was delicious and the amount of wildlife was just wonderful. We will be back soon!!

Wonderful place and wonderful couple. They have a great bed and breakfast. Spacious room with sitting area beautiful bathroom extra balcony sitting area. Room was plush and very clean. Owners are friendly and helpful with sightseeing suggestions.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property and had we known how beautiful, clean, comfortable and quiet, we would have booked it for longer. The owners were so personable and kind, we felt so welcomed and “at home”! We had dinner and breakfast the next morning and the food was spectacular, on all accounts! We highly recommend this property and if we ever visit Scotland again, we will most certainly stay here again; for more than just 1 night!

Very welcoming hosts. Hotel is in quiet location and we had the room with a lovely view of Loch Ness. Food, both breakfast and dinner freshly cooked to order. Loved seeing the red squirrels at breakfast time!

Faboulous Stay with the most wonderful hosts

Elly and Chris were fabulous hosts. The home is beautiful and comfortable, room was warm with a great hot shower. We had dinner at the property, one of the best meals weve had on our trip so far. This was by far our favorite stay out of 5 different accommodations on our trip so far. Just absolutely wonderful!

Foyers Bay Country House was my favorite place to stay while traveling in Scotland. The owners are lovely. The room was spacious and had a wonderful view of Loch Ness. Great location to walk to Foyers Falls and the shores of Loch Ness. Even got to see Rodger the Badger!

This is an out of the way gem. You will not find a better place to sort yourself out. The walk to the falls is gorgeous and only 20 mins. The views are breathtaking and welcoming staff will see me coming again and staying longer. Truly a gem along Loch Ness.

I have been fortunate to travel much of the world. I have stayed at substandard hotels, 5 star hotels, and many more in between. Without exaggeration, Flyers Bay Country house is by far the best place I’ve ever stayed. The property itself is gorgeous. It has the feel of 1950s-60s country lodge but on the inside is fully modernized. The views of Loch Ness from the bedrooms is BREATHTAKING. Every night my wife and I would watch the sunset over the gorgeous water. And as a pleasant bonus, the Loch is only about 10 minutes walk from the house. The other best part of this location is the peace and quiet. We spent much time appreciating the tranquil sounds of nature from the balcony attached to our room. The owners, Chris and Ellen, are delightful and professional. Overall it was a complete joy to stay there. If I could rate it 6/5 stars, I would.

A fabulous place to stay, quiet and peaceful. The owners are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The atmosphere inside and outside of the house is like out of a fairytale where nature and wildlife are in harmony with the house. During our stay we've seen deers in the garden and some very friendly cockerels. The lake is at a short walking distance away. Sadly we only stayed one night, but we'll happily return.

There are not enough words to describe how much we loved our stay here. Chris & Elly are fantastic owners and cant do enough for their guests, food and rooms are excellent and the location, well its beyond words. We loved seeing the red squirrels and the visit from the badger. Although off the beaten track it is definitely worth the drive as the scenery is stunning, If we get a chance we will be back - for a week next time! Thank you so much for being a major highlight of our road trip.

I found the write up on your site to be somewhat misleading as to location and did not tell us that they don't serve dinner on the weekends, You need to research The actual locations and the state of the access roads leading to the hotel .Bed was comfortable and breakfast adequite
