"The Ranch is a great place - except for where it is! HaHa. Seriously, why build on the Valley floor where the winds, and sand, howl in the afternoon. I arrived late May off-season (hint?). It was mid-90's by 10am and the wind started at noon. Oh boy, it was absolutely howling by 3pm. I wanted to leave early but the EV chargers provide only a 4kw trickle, so I stayed. The swimming pool is 5 stars for sure! Staff was concerned that pool furniture was blowing into the pool, but tamed it so I could do a few laps! Actually, the park personnel are fantastic and the entire park looks great. If I didn't have an EV I would have preferred the Inn up the hill, but I needed a charge if I wanted to leave the valley, so the Ranch it was. Nice ammenities but mostly closed ot throttled back (did I say off season?). Can't say it was a bad or good experience, just weird like a dream where you visit another planet for a day. The type of trip one remembers!"
