"A two-night stay at this charming hotel on Cristobal Island, tucked away from all noise. Nature at its best. "Cosmic Crab was one of the most memorable places I’ve ever stayed. As a solo female traveler, I immediately felt welcomed, safe, and comfortable. The property is family-owned, and you can truly feel that in the atmosphere. The owner is incredibly kind and made me feel at ease from the moment I arrived. The overwater bungalow was a dream come true. Falling asleep to the sound of the water and waking up to beautiful views every morning never got old. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for my stay. I also loved how walkable the area was. I enjoyed taking daily walks around Carenero, visiting nearby markets, and exploring the island. The food and drinks were fantastic, especially the Atlantis Colors cocktail and the bacon cheeseburger. The location was perfect because it felt peaceful and relaxing while still being close to everything. Honestly, I didn’t want to leave. I’ve only been home a day and I’m already looking at dates to come back. I would absolutely recommend Cosmic Crab to anyone visiting Bocas, especially solo travelers looking for a place where they’ll feel welcomed and cared for."

"I called a week ahead to make sure I could get surfing lessons. The instructor texted, “The plans for you is Carenero Beginners or tiger tail, depend of the sizes of the waves. Is all included, only you have to bring one towel😉🌊” When I arrived, she said, “Because I never heard from you, I cancelled the reservation.”"

Oasis Bluff Beach

"We can't say enough about how wonderful our experience was at Oasis Bluff Beach! The staff made us feel at home and attended to our every need. Our room opened to the front deck overlooking the beach and ocean. What a view for our early morning coffee as well as for our evening cocktails...truly peaceful. We went on nature hikes both on our own and with a biologist and saw monkeys, sloths, dart frogs, birds and lizards. The restaurant on site is fantastic! We ate so much fresh ceviche! All of the food is delicious and the drinks are very yummy! They even brew their own tonic for wonderful gin and tonics. We will definitely be back."
