"The hotel is beautiful and so convenient to downtown Napa. The spa was amazing. Did not love the breakfast/ way too much butter on the food. Maybe some people would love that/ but it was not for me. The rooftop bar was fun and the food and drinks were great. The bathtub in the room was a huge bonus. Would absolutely stay again. Also- the outdoor fireplace in the room ( plus the cozy blanket) were perfect. Overall a 9/10!"

"Very convenient location in the heart of downtown are. Day staff was great. My only complaint was that I walked out of the hotel at 9:00 a.m. to have breakfast at a nearby restaurant. Check out time is 11:00. I did not take my car or have my luggage; for some reason the clerk on duty decided to check me out when he saw me leave. I could not get back in my room! Eventually was able to get my belongings."

"5 star for the location. Close to Main Street with many restaurants around. The hotel room was big with sitting area and nice bedding, separate bath tub and shower. Clean rooms but a little old and run down. Even though the breakfast included with reservation, the hotel itself didn’t gage a restaurant or cafe, for breakfast you need to go to bakery next door and each traveler gets a$10 voucher per set for breakfast. The bakery has variety of baked goods and breakfast sandwiches but they are pretty expensive. You end up spending 15 to 20 dollars more per person every day. Overall a good stay but I don’t think we will stay there again"

"This is a family owned small boutique hotel that offers luxury style amenities. My husband and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and couldn’t been more happy with this hotel. I believe we stayed in loft 11 and just know that it’s worth every penny you paid. The sheets, the bed, the decor, the bathroom was all top tier. Staff were pleasant and very accommodating on arrival. This is also a self check-in and check-out which is convenient. We truly loved our stay. Would definitely recommend 10/10."

"This was a great place to stay! We had rooms in one of the cottages and it was very comfortable! Breakfast was very good and staff excellent. Location was perfect for a short walk to downtown Napa. We will stay here again on our next trip to Napa!"

"The Charles was fantastic!!! Arrival was welcoming, as though we were old time friends. The main part of the house was clearly recently remodeled and painted, all while keeping with the old time charm of the house. Our room was large, and we never felt cramped. Breakfast was so good that we kept bringing it up during the day. And the scones are not to be missed!!! It is now our go to place in Napa. Could not recommend higher."

"Do not - I repeat do not - stay on the bottom floor if you come here. You hear every noise. The inn is small so you hear every footstep, door open and close, and constant thumps. I slept 3 hours. I would only stay here if you are guaranteed the top floor because it is cute and clean. I did not interact with staff because I checked in at 9 pm and no one is on the premises. Therefore, I cannot comment on staff friendliness. "

"Parking is easy enough. Check in and out went as expected. Staff was friendly. Beds and pillows were comfortable. A bit on the older side and some things didn’t seem clean, including the pool. Heater had a smell when first turning it on, but it went away fairly quickly. Refrigerator froze our food. Mediocre, but did the job for a last minute trip/booking."

"The Blackbird Inn was gorgeous! We needed a late check in and it was smooth as could be. The room was clean and beautifully appointed. Breakfast was fresh, and huge, way to much for me to eat. We didnt have much interaction with staff, but what little we did was good. "
