The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were standard but clean, with excellent showers. The main criticism is the limited parking. Do not park behind the Indian restaurant next door or you will be towed.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Took a minute but shower water hot. Breakfast was a bagged to-go, sandwich (just so-so) nutrition bar, yogurt. Took the breakfast with us and ate later. Would stay again.

This property was perfect for our needs. You’re within walking distance to downtown and it’s in the outskirts of town and easily accessible to head toward Grand Teton NP. The warm to go breakfast was handy and tasty, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downside is the limited parking but that is not enough to not stay here.

This property was in an excellent location. It is one block from Jackson Square and about a 15 minute drive to Teton National Park. We booked a queen room and it was very small so might consider upgrading to a two Queen bedroom or King. We would definitely stay here again and Jackson Hole and all the surrounding activities were wonderful!

The woodwork, decor , parquet floor and brass fixtures give it an old western charm. Free WiFi and nice grab and go breakfast and fresh coffee each morning. Free bear spray to borrow for the asking. The only problem was parking - there are more rooms than there are parking spaces. Overall I would recommend it.

The location and staff were great. Our only "challenge" was the no options for breakfast. Someone in my family is a picky eater and only having grab and go sandwiches just didn't work for her. Maybe have an option of like boxed cereal choices for others with similar preferences.

The location is perfect for walking to all restaurants, bars, shops, etc. We even walked to the Rodeo. It was quiet at night. The staff is always helpful, especially Arizona! The room was much smaller than we expected for the price we paid. Daily cleaning was appreciated. The breakfast was fine with my husband, but I didn't eat it and purchased healthier options at the grocery. We didn't have any problems with parking.

Lived staying here on my first trip to Jackson! They were able to hold my bags before and after checkin/out. I used the bikes to get around town, but also it was RIGHT there on the main drag. Super comfortable bed. Would def stay here again!

The Anvil is a solid choice with being located right in Downtown Jackson Hole on Cache Street - walkable to ALL THINGS Jackson, and conveniently located on the road that takes you into GTNP. Anvil has an old-school motor inn / motel vibe but with a modern twist. Window AC units for the win, a great lobby with grab & go breakfasts in the morning and plenty of parking. Staff is great and there's a hostel section there too so the clientele was eclectic (not in a bad way) and everyone appeared to have the same vibe for getting themselves outside!

The location was absolutely perfect for all the downtown tourist shopping / drinking / eating - walked to everything! The breakfast “to go bags” were way better than I expected. There was a warm fresh breakfast sandwich and a yogurt and granola bar!

The lack of available parking is a persistent problem. The location is convenient for downtown access, super walkable. Staff need retraining on customer service fundamentals. Breakfast needs an upgrade for this price point. If you are a solo traveling hipster this is your spot, if you are with family look elsewhere.
