We booked this hotel as a little treat at the end of a busy and chaotic trip in India it didn't disappoint - enormous and beautiful room and bathroom with every attention to detail for our comfort. The manager was exceptional - went above and beyond in every way to make our visit enjoyable. Nearly forgot - fantastic pool! Totally recommend this place.

We choose this desert camp because of it’s size, with only 10 tents, which provided a wonderful stay as it felt small and intimate. The owner and staff were lovely, and the owner is working hard on their eco friendliness both in camo and the surrounding lands. Evening entertainment was provided, which was wonderful, along with a large fire pit and sand dune activities for those who wanted them. Had a fantastic & memorable stay at the palatial Hotel Suryagarh! The hotel is out of the main city of Jaisalmer. From the moment we arrived at the hotel everything was just wonderful. A warm welcome, fast check-in, a refreshing drink, upgraded to a beautiful signature suite. Such a nice hotel and the owner Naru is a legend ! He made us feel so at home right from the off and was happy to help with anything we needed ! Don’t book the camel safari in advance as he will help you book one that is private and amazing value ! The beds were really comfortable, the bathrooms lovely and the terrace to watch the sunset from and eat breakfast was awesome. Honestly can’t fault it ! We’ll be back !!

We stayed for a night to experience the stay which was highly praised by fellow travelers on various travel sites. The rooms very small and basic, but very tastefully and traditionally done. The staff was very courteous. The hotel is very close to the fort and the market area. The traditional rajasthani food was delicious. Would highly recommend this place for everyone visiting Jaislamer. They also made very good arrangements for our travel to the Khuri dunes....

Enjoyed my stay here. Very friendly staff. I actually arrived very late at night, thanks to Indian Railways and someone from the hotel came to meet me at the station and drove me to the hotel. This was amazing service and such a relief for me as I was incredibly tired. We even completed check-in the next morning so I could sleep first! The hotel is perfectly situated, good air-conditioning in the room, and very spacious. They also arranged for me to travel to Jodhpur so I could catch my onward...

The hotel has been open for +10 years and is currently expanding. The design of the hotel is on three levels, with quiet, shady, cool corners as well as sunny rooftop dinning areas. As we arrived at Jaisalmer station we called Hotel Tokyo palace to confirm our arrival time, the hotel taxi picked us up. We were welcomed at the hotel & were promptly shown to our room even before check in.
