Where do I start? Leoki was the most amazing host I have ever experienced. This Bed and Breakfast was away from tourist areas, very quiet and relaxing. I truly loved the atmosphere. The grounds crew were friendly and courteous as they worked and were also. I have no complaints at all.

Our family of 4 stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage and it was a perfect way to end our 6 night vacation. It gave us the opportunity to spread out and we really enjoyed the private plunge pool. Loekke was an amazing host - she made extra eggs for my picky daughter and had lovely dinner recommendations. The breakfast was absolutely delicious - I feel like we were spending $100 on the island to have something that good! She gave us free passes to Jan Thiel Beach too. I enjoyed reading at night out on our private porch. The kids loved the hammock too. Only negative was that it was open air during the day and it was hot. Bedrooms cool down at night with wall units.

Loekie is the best hostess. So warm and helpfull. Don't mis the home made breakfast, made fresh every morning. We loved the tranquillety at the landhuis and the beautiful sunsets. You feel at home.

Absolutely amazing stay at Plantation Jan Thiel lodge. The lodge has so much character and is located in a beautiful setting. If I could give a Michelin star to Loeki, I would — the breakfasts were out of this world made with fresh local Ingredients and or so flavourful and healthy. All the staff were courteous and very nice.

The hostess was amazing, she is attentive a great conversationalist and exceptional cook! I don’t know how she does it all! The atmosphere, views and variety of commons spaces for where to choose where to relax is great. The resident fur babies (dogs) add a comforting presence as well. Great job from Loeki(manager). Beautiful place to stay nearby Willamsted. We particully loved the swimming pool/the flamingos lake(nearby)/the big table outside where we ate breakfast(good food from Loeki)/ and the front aera where to see the sunset. Thanks for everything!! Mention: I bumped into the light nearby the bed in the Turquoise room_need to put higher. Martin & Annelie

The manager Loeki, was fantastic! Like visiting your favorite relative. Very knowledgeable and friendly. The setting is very comfortable and relaxing. Close to the salt flats and flamingos which made a great easy walk. This is a gated facility ensuring privacy of the guests. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time staying here, the property was nice and spacious and clean. It has access via a trail to walk down to the salt flats and see the flamingos. The hostess was wonderful and very nice making us a delicious breakfast every morning, as well as giving us great ideas and tips on where to go.

Fantastic and can’t wait to go back. The hosts are so friendly and helpful. The entire property is unique and a little paradise on paradise. We liked watching the sunset from the main house patio area. We stayed in the little cottage we’re so comfortable and loved the private pool and outdoor shower. We liked talking with the other guests from all over the world over breakfast and sharing island experiences. It is a very peaceful and quiet place with house animals as an extra bonus.

We absolutely loved this property! It is so beautiful and peaceful. The hostess Loeki was so welcoming and made us felt right at home. She made the most amazing breakfast with fresh ingredients from the property. She always had cold water infused with different fruits or mint which was appreciated after a hot day. I would highly recommend this property when visiting Curaçao!

Amazing

Loekie's place was AMAZING. We cannot say enough about how wonderful she is, the pups are, the property is, the meals are, and the hospitality. WOW. Staying here made our vacation. The location is ideal, too - you are close to many things and have great walking trails in the park just behind. The pool was refreshing. We cannot wait to come back.

Our family of four (two adults and two kids 9 &5) stayed for a week at Plantation Jan Thiel. It was a excellent home base to explore the island from. Loeki is a fantastic host who made us feel at home. She provided loads of great tips for beaches to visit, activities for the kids and restaurants to try. The property is beautiful with an easy walking trail down to see the flamingos at the salt flats, a great pool with comfortable lounge chairs and large terraces to enjoy the view and a cocktail after a long day in the sun. I highly recommend staying here!
