Great location and property, very different to beach based ones but felt a little cold at night! Enjoyed restaurant cuisine.

The perfect place to stay to maximize your chances of seeing quetzals. Not the cheapest but worth every dollar. Beautiful grounds even in the rain. Very friendly and attentive staff. Good restaurant with great service. Truly excellent guide in Greibin.

Great location

The room was huge, with a vast en suite and good facilities. It was spotless. The staff were friendly and professional all the time. So helpful. The restaurant had the most wonderful ambience, being semi open air, with a stupendous wire. Great food at every meal.

Wonderful lodges that sit in harmony with nature. We had a junior suite which was more spacious with an open fire place we used which was very cosy. Peaceful and beautiful gardens which attract many colourful birds. Helpful staff who were excellent when I was unwell on arrival from previous location. They were also great at arranging trips and transportation. Food is delicious and of high quality. Spa was nice and I had a very good massage. The Sevegre is a very special place with a lot...

The most difficult thing appears to be able to find the hotel. It is off a busy road on a tight turn with limited width and you will find you have to use the intercom to get the gate to be opened. Use this GPS: 9.834830, -83.836998 location to get you to the exact turn-off for the private gated hotel. Parking is sufficient once inside and the rooms spacious with good beds and bathrooms/showers. Comfy seating on each verandah provides needed relaxation. The kitchen in the room has fridge and...

Amazing glamping tent, fab restaurant a few feet away. Nancy was amazing at sorting trips. Beautiful views and a thoroughly relaxing stay

We had a lovely 2 night stay here. The family were attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The location is stunning. The breakfast options are good (but not included in price) and the dinner is fine, again not included in price. Its a bit difficult to choose with no written menu - you get told the options at check in and have to choose in the afternoon. We got there by bus. Its possible by MUSOC bus. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a fab stay here! Arranged them to pick us up at the airport which was seamless. We arrived at the hotel quite late, around 23:30 and they were still welcoming and even upgraded our room. The pool area is lovely, just limited sun loungers. Breakfast was also great with something for everyone!

This is our second stay here, the first being six years ago for our sons wedding. The resort is a small piece of paradise nestling in the rain forest with a large varied selection of accommodation ranging from the large presidential bungalow with two bedrooms, spa bath and lounge with a bar! to the smaller bungalows /cabinas and wooden cabins, plus two blocks of apartments. The whole resort nestles in several acres of manicured rainforest with well cared for pathways and gardens and the hot...

Maybe we were spoilt because, when we added an extra night to our booking, George upgraded us to a junior suite. This was a fantastic room, with huge picture windows by the bed, and in front of the sofa. When the weather got a bit iffy, we could just sit and watch the hummingbirds, or the clouds rolling in on the valley below. When it was sunny, we could sit outside on our terrace and watch the birds. Fantastic shopping on site, because the Dantica gallery is brilliant!

Awesome… A great welcome from the host and shown to the lodge which was wonderful. The secret garden is way up in the mountains overlooking Cartago and had it not been cloudy we would have seen a spectacular sun set, unfortunately we didn’t, but the cloud did ease off for a spectacular view of Cartago sparkling in the night far below our lodge. Some extras left in the lodge for those caught out, a couple of long hoodies and jackets for when it’s cold which was a wonderful touch. Breakfast was...

This is a great place to stay if you enjoy tranquility, scenery and wildlife. Not great if you prefer a lively night scene. We ate at the restaurant every night because the food was so good but also because the drive back down the valley to the village was rather daunting in the dark. Jose, the chef/owner serves up fresh water fish, locally caught in a variety of imaginative ways but he also serves meat and vegetarian options (he is also a very good photographer and enjoys sharing his photos of...

Helpful friendly staff, good food, clean and well equipped rooms and superb gardens with a host of birds. Can't fault it.
