We got a code, and it worked for the door to the lobby and to the room. Whenever I had a question, sent a text and received a response a few moments later. Only drawback was TV - Roku. "Lovingly restored building with wonderful detailing yet with modern functioning utilities. A most pleasant experience. Drawbacks - a few external ones. The building is on an unattractive street next to a parking lot and a garage and inhabited by a few unhoused persons. Still the surrounding area beyond this one block is quite nice. And there is nowhere to buy sodas or snacks nearby. There is an informal restaurant/bar around the corner, but it is cash only and does not open until 9:00 AM.We...

"This is a beautifully decorated, historic home in a quiet neighborhood with many local dining options nearby. La Reserve staff was friendly, knowledgeable and kind. All the important touches were provided. Many neighbors take pride in decorating with outdoor flower boxes on their homes exteriors. Reminded me of London and Charleston. "

"We just came back after 10 years. We were not disappointed! We love the brunch at La Croix. Looking forward to Scarpetta on our next visit. Stopped by the bar for a drink and to people watch and enjoyed live music and a lively but nice crowd. Love the LeLabo toiletries. Super comfy bed and pillows.
