"Hi I find the charge high relative to the service.
When I am in a hotel booked for 4 people,
I expect to see 4 towels in the room plus enough shampoo/conditioner… the klinex box was left there empty. For early check out they offer me a breakfast box to go.
The fridge in the room, was not even working. The sandwiches and ham we had were warm the next day. The blue ice did not get frozen. I think the fridge was not working.
I did online check in, which they said it did not go through. And when I asked for a room on the first floor, the receptionist told me that would cost me more expensive. I wonder how much they would have charged to change our room from 2nd floor to first floor.
In general, I do not recommend staying at a travelodge. You think they are cheap but at a place with almost same price you get way better services."
"This was the nicest Super 8 I’ve stayed at. The property went above and beyond to provide useful services, such as a free area to hose off your bike or car and specific makeup wash cloths. The breakfast was also very good."
"Cabin superlative in presentation, with interior decor, with dishes and kitchen necessities, with ancillary items to ensure a quiet and comforting holiday. And the view over the salt water incredible. Kudos to the owner(s) of the property."
"The Maple Inn is a cozy, warm, and inviting place to stay. Paul and his team provided fantastic service alongside a top-tier three course breakfast. I'll be back."
"Sign by dining room listed its hours of operation for all 3 daily meals, but when we came by for dinner well within the listed time frame, there was literally nobody around anywhere. There was no indication that it might only be certain days or by reservation only, in fact it's listed as a full public restaurant on their website, with public menu visible, we'd even planned what we wanted to order. And it was a Friday night, so even if they were only open some days, surely they'd be open for dinner Fridays!
Staff was friendly but scattered. Room was small but comfortable. The beautiful antique styles of the main house are far less so in the carriage house so that was a little disappointing. The toilet in our bathroom was huge and ancient and was constantly running until I fixed it myself. Price was very reasonable.
Be aware - there's a train that runs nearby and the whistle is very noisy. This is not the fault of the owners of course, but something to be aware of for light sleepers. "
"The owners Jeff and Marisca were extremely friendly and accomodating with great food options and going out of their way to provide home made gluten free food for allergies and was well maintained property."
