Love the privacy of the patio. Very quiet. They have a lovely restaurant with a fabulous menu but they also specialize in steaks. They source their meat from all around Southern Africa. Food was awesome. I am using this hotel as my base for travelling o In this part of the world from Jburg to and always look forward to returning.

Lovely hotel & fantastic driver

A really lovely hotel. Staff were great, helping us wherever they could (and allowing us to hang around the hotel after check-out when our flight was delayed). The restaurant was great - breakfast & dinner we had was really tasty, and the bar was friendly and relaxed. What really made the trip was the driver they connected us with before we arrived - Mayen Naldo picked us up from the airport but was then available for the rest of our trip, with advice on where to go & safety, he charged the same as a taxi per trip & was reliable and incredibly helpful.

I wanted to share my experience at the wonderful Afrique Boutique Hotel we stayed at during the recent electricity outages. The room had a partial view of a beautiful garden where birds would come to feed and hearing them sing made our stay even more peaceful. The decor was exceptional- exquisite paintings adorned the bedrooms, lounges and restaurant, creating a truly elegant atmosphere. Breakfast was always freshly prepared, beautifully presented and offered a large variety to choose from, going far beyond the usual buffet. The restaurant's cuisine can only be described as par excellence, and every service-whether at breakfast or any other request-was delivered with joy, good humour and unmistakable professionalism. We were especially grateful for the personal attention from the owner and the staff. They helped my sister with her walker and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their kindness, care and helpfullness were truly remarkable. We would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting South Africa. Whether you're here for a short stay, a business conference, or simply to relax and recharge, this establishment stands out as one of the best we have encountered. Just an amazing team of people , nothing is too much trouble , wife wanted IPA beer they had it next day! It’s the small things ! Been staying here I think since 2007/8 and it’s always been great, food is excellent staff is excellent!! No complaints from me

Traveled from the USA. Stayed at this property for 4 days and it was great stay. Rooms were clean and the staff was very accommodating after getting a room with only a bath and I later asked for a room with a shower and was moved the next day into one. Breakfast buffet that came included was good, I loved the dinner options along with the drink selection at the bar. Rooms included their own little walk out area, some which appeared to have better views than others. Outside sitting area by the bar was great and relaxing. For the price I paid, this was an amazing property to have spent my four days at.

This was a very nice place to stay. As an American it’s often difficult to travel in a foreign county but the service at Afrique was top notch. It’s not walking distance to anything which was its only downfall from my point of view but the food was amazing and the staff was very kind to me especially all the young gentleman who helped with my room heat and internet and the little things I had challenges with. It was nice to have your own patio to get fresh air whenever you wanted. It’s close to the East Rand Mall and the Airport. Did I mention the food was amazing and the laundry service - well I’d fly 16,000 km to have this nice lady clean my clothes again! Thank you for a lovely stay.

I had a good rest since I was traveling from USA . However the WiFi connection wasn’t great and that didn’t make my stay any easier . I couldn’t use the bar fridge because it wasn’t plugged and I couldn’t find the plug. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very helpful and friendly , overall Afrique Boutique Hotel is a beautiful and unique place I liked it .

The thing about this hotel was the amazing restaurant, delicious food, really good wines and the staff was really helpful and competent. There is a lot of noice from airplanes taking off, but after 11pm there were not that many planes leaving. Good place for a one night layovers, felt authentic.
