Little Gem

We were a group with 9 rooms, and I am very impressed to say that everyone had only good things to say about this establishment. It's a well maintained little gem, offering very good value in today’s times.

Very good

My stay was three nights. Staff very friendly and good at their job. The rooms are warm even on the coldest winter day. Clean place and good value for money. They should deal with noise emanating from groups in the lobby areas.

Budget Hotel in the heart of Randburg

Even though the website says there is room service and a restaurant, there isn't (the restaurant was closed - even the bar opened much later than it should have on the Sunday). The note we were handed on check-in actually advised "for hygiene purposes, we don't serve meals in the rooms, guests are welcome to have their meals in the main restaurant" and then the receptionist advised the restaurant was closed! There are no restaurants within walking distance and it is not a particularly safe area to walk around at night.. Biggest problem is that the fire escape door on the 4th floor was jammed open to accommodate smokers. Our room was right by this door and couldn't open our windows and had to put up with what seemed like a party taking place on the fire escape at 10:30 at night! Our room (420) because it was so close to the smoking area and obviously the windows had been opened at some stage, had a distinct smoky smell - not pleasant. Complained to reception the next morning and the receptionists attitude was to laugh and shrug her shoulders. Not sure that propping a fire escape door open is legal, it's certainly a security risk! However, the interior of the hotel appears to have just been refurbished and is extremely comfortable and well thought out. Wi-fi signal was great and the parking was plentiful and secure.

leuk hotel gespecialiseerd in conferences maar de tourist is daarvoor niet onbestaande, in tegendeel. Efficiente receptie, business centre open 24 uur, aangename bar en efficiente baarman. Grote restaurant maar de menu is wat pauver.

El Hotel es en líneas generales muy bueno! Solo el personal poco atento , quizás sea la idiosincrasia del ciudadano Sudafricano. Lo que no es agradable la zona donde está situado! Nuestro agente de turismo nos indicó no salir a caminar ya que se trata de una zona muuuuyyy insegura!

Really good value

We traveled up from Durban as part of a crew of 4 for broadcast work and were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It was well kept, clean with airy, spacious rooms and with twin beds that suited our needs. The location was a bonus as this hotel was a short walk to MNet and central to Sandton, Cresta and Fourways. Will definitely be back.
