Farmstay in Johnson County

"I’d I could rate this hotel in the negative I would. Terrible hotel. Room was filthy, food on floor, something smeared all over we refrigerator, drips of food on chair, room smelled, bathroom mirror had same white smear the refrigerator had. We were moved to a different room. This had no shower curtain, mold all along grout line, soap scum Ring in bathtub, barely a trickle of water from shower head and water spout. The pillows felt like shredded balled up tufts of material and the bed clearly was sagging. The elevator walls were filthy- something drippy was splattered all over them. The inflated price we paid for this hotel due to U of Iowa move out/graduation weekend is ridiculous compared to the lack of cleanliness and quality. I cannot speak of the quality of breakfast because if the room was this filthy there was no way I was trusting the kitchen to be clean. We SURELY will never stay there again and we will be contacting corporate offices to discuss reimbursement. Do not stay here."

"This a basic hotel that is clearly understaffed. Check in was difficult and we couldn’t get into our room for hours after the established check in time. Huge bags of trash and laundry in the halls all day. Things got cleaned up but not in a timely manner."

"This is a very well-maintained property. The beds are comfy and the bathroom counter spacious. Even the grounds surrounding it are meticulous and there are sheltered tables outside. You’ll find numerous restaurants a short drive away and a Culvers a short walk away. We will definitely return! "
