Treetop by Eight Continents Zanzibar exceeded all our expectations. It is an excellent choice for solo travellers, couples and families, and in my opinion, this resort is seriously underrated. From the moment we stepped onto the hotel premises, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Everyone was friendly, kind and attentive throughout our stay. A special thank you to Ally, who helped my wife organise a beautiful surprise dinner for us by the beach. It was an unforgettable experience and...

Wonderful! The staff can't do enough for you. The hotel is clean, the rooms are lovely, the view spectacular. From Yacinta at the front desk, to Agustino, Kelvin and Alfred in the bar and restaurant, to Chef Ali and the delicious food, every one really cared for us and wanted to make sure we were having a great time. Even the groundsmen and the housekeepers had a lovely smile and ask about your day, honestly I can't speak highly enough. A great experience, wish we didnt have to leave!

Incredible stay. Very welcoming and friendly professional staff. Fantastic facilities and attention to detail.

It was absolutely amazing, the food was outstanding, high level of all inclusive. Amazing staff and beautiful decorated rooms.

Best hotel we have ever stayed in around the world. Flawless.

The staff were extremely kind and professional amongst the best I’ve seen in Tanzania. Small point - no TVs anywhere

This was a few days away after doing some fairly demanding charity work in the Maasai Mara. The hotel was recommended by some friends and it did not disappoint. We arrived late but the Assistant Manager was there to greet us and there was a light meal in our room. There were several similar nice touches during our stay and all of the staff went out of their way to make your stay as perfect as they possibly could. Particular praise goes to those we interacted with most (Assi who took us on the...

Our stay at your incredible resort was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed not as guests, but as family—and that warmth remained with us throughout our stay. The facilities were outstanding, but what truly made our experience unforgettable was the team behind it all. We extend our deepest gratitude to Ahmed, the Front Office Manager, along with Benjamin, Edson, Rakesh, and every single member of your amazing team. Your kindness, professionalism, and...

Welcoming and professional staff with 24/7 concierge service via WhatsApp. Well sized rooms, incredibly clean with good amenities (luxury shower kits, shaving kits, hair dryer, gown, slippers). Fantastic turn down service and benefits at the hotel - they’ve got a low cost Tuk-tuk on site and buggy to the beach for free. Very good WiFi. Really nice hotel restaurant with a range of breakfast options that are well tied to the wellness theme. Good location that’s close to hotspots like Maalum and...

Incredible staff nothing was too much to ensure my stay was amazing. The room was fantastic but would have liked not to have ask for the fridge or other listed things that weren’t in the room.! Main issue would be the lack of transport for solo travellers, the opportunity is there but not explored as we would love to book trips but are excluded The location may not be suitable for many but for my stay it was perfect

Very nice family holiday. All family enjoyed it! Spacious and clean 3 bedroom flat with full kitchen and large balcony. Would love to come back! Only one downside- could not buy dishwasher tablets anywhere in Paje😄

Absolutely amazing! Very quiet during late July, but the staff were so lovely. Food was great, pool, rooms everything just great. Just an absolutely perfect place. Big shout out to the lovely Venson.

I stayed here in Jan 2026 and it was the most beautiful stay. From the moment I entered this property to the moment I left, everything was just wonderful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was one of the best hotel rooms I have stayed in. Clean, stylish, spacious and the service here was always good.

Love the hotel and staff, great location with superb food cooked fresh! Highly recommended

The owner was very helpful and was happy to spend time listening and then giving helpful advice. Always checking to see if everything was good. A very good host. Definitely recommend staying here. Clean and spotless.very friendly
