"The staff were very accommodating and professional. The juice machine was broken throughout our 8 day stay, but the rest of breakfast was good. Our room was never cleaned/refreshed but we did receive fresh towels and more toilet paper, soap, shampoo, etc. whenever we asked. We loved the location and used the hot tub daily. The roof was being replaced during our stay, but the construction hours were limited to daylight hours which was appreciated."
"Bathroom had poo in the toilet and the bed was slept in. The rest of the room looked clean. Staff moved us to another room with stained chair and nasty remote and hairballs on carpet. We were part of a large group and no one else experienced the gross stuff. Rest of the Property was clean and continental breakfast was nice."
"I arrived for my reservation, made through Hotels.com, at 10:30 pm. There was no one at the front desk and no one answered when I called the posted phone number. The email confirmation stated the front desk was open until midnight but it was clearly closed for the night.
I called hotels.com for assistance but there was nothing they could do to contact the hotel. I was unable to check in for my reservation, was assured by Hotels.com that i would not be charged, and had to scramble to find an alternate accommodation for the night.
I was in fact charged for my stay. Calls to the hotel and to hotels.com requesting a refund - as I was unable to check in despite arriving during the posted hours - have not been successful. I do not recommend staying at this hotel as there is no guarantee you will actually have access to your room. I also don’t recommend booking on hotels.com as they cannot make any assurances of a stay or honor their word to ensure I wouldn’t be charged for a stay that never happened."
"Maybe we got one of the dirtiest rooms in the hotel. The first thing we noticed was the office style chair that was a mess. The vinyl was peeling away from the back and the seat. Then we noticed the terribly stained floor. Then when we wanted to watch tv we couldn’t find the typical channels we like so we called the front desk. The person came up quickly and stated we have a Roku TV which I could see. We do use a Roku at home. She told us we had to login to our own account to Roku or Spectrum to watch regular TV. At that point I was thinking this is terrible for a $200 per night hotel. Then the next morning we proceed to take showers and the inside of the tub was very much used and very stained. Wow! Why can’t this hotel provide a better looking cleaner carpeted room with easier access to TV programs especially charging what they do. I’ll never stay there again."
"They were booked full when I got there at 430pm to check in. My room was not cleaned yet…which I would have forgiven them for even though I had to wait about 45 min until it was ready. But when I got to the room the bathroom smelled slightly of vomit. And later I found some spots that had been missed. The hotel itself is older, would have been ok for a cheaper hotel stay but I feel like having a bathroom that doesn’t smell of vomit is a minimum cleanliness threshold that any hotel should meet, no matter how busy they are. So I probably won’t stay here again. The hotels in Lewiston are way overpriced and unless you stay in the most expensive ones your hotel stay is usually not pleasant. I thinkI have stayed in most of the cheaper ones at this point. I might just start camping in the campground when I visit. At least my tent will be clean."
