Great pool space and the Kangaroos were fun to watch. Studio was basic, but ideal size for 2 travellers and good value. A comfy bed, good air conditioning and great shower were welcome. Kitchenette was functional with a fridge, kettle & toaster, but not having a sink (had to use the bathroom one) was a little strange.

Disappointing that it advertises as having free wifi, but in fact they dont have Wifi in the room, just a hotspot outside, misleading. Otherwise fine, and the kangaroos are a bonus

Overall as advertised, in central location close to shops and restaurants. Fairly old facilities but serviceable. Straightforward contactless checkin after hours. Property wasn't very clean was our first impression with dirty cutlery and a sticky dining table. Easily fixed with some cleaning but not ideal. Be aware the front door locks when you close it so make sure to keep the keys on you! Also not a problem for us and its made clear in the description and photos but our villa was 2 storey so be aware that you will need to go up and down stairs.

We stayed 5 nights in a 2 bedroom unit, 2 storey which was fun with 2 adults and 2 children. Upon arrival staff were very friendly and accommodating, we arrived early and let us check in early. Pros- -room was nice and well appointed -beds were comfortable, -great for kids - lots of space -very close to some of the best dining spots in town, walked everywhere easily. Cons- rooms are non serviced and must be cleaned by yourself after - this is a concern because how well did the previous person clean all the dishes and in general? , -whole place seems not very serviced, lots of maintenance required in general - from a tarp on a roof that had been there so long the sandbags have fallen apart, to simply doing the lawn edges. -deep clean was lacking with window sills covered in old spider nests and lots of dust, fan was covered in dust too. -The pool was full of water bugs, this indicates poor chemical levels or cleanliness. - Hot water was not sufficient for 4 people back to back I can appreciate a resort if this size will have its issues, but it was peak time and there’s been no shortage of customers All in all we had a great time, it was great value and would definitely come back again knowing what to expect

This place is very conveniently located for anyone staying in Kalbarri. It's clean, well-looked after, the reception staff are very friendly and helpful, and the on-site kangaroos are a great bonus. The main reasons for my relatively low score relate to the queen-sized bed being too hard and seriously wobbly (leading to poor sleep), the poor Wi-Fi reception (not available in the room, a Hibiscus study) and the irregular housekeeping provided (there seems to be a rather tight window in the mornings and I was not advised that it is not done daily). Admittedly Wi-Fi is never mentioned as something provided by the resort, but these days it is a requirement and there is little point in providing something that is ultimately non-functional. Because a good night's sleep and Wi-Fi are important to me I would not stay again here, but otherwise I'm sure many people would be perfectly content in this motel.

Didn't realize rooms are upstairs and lounge downstairs. Hard to carry heavy suitcases up the stairs so we end up putting it in the laundry which is ground level. Water tape cannot be turned off so this property was not maintained.
