"Rooms were not very soundproof, we had LOUD neighbors. Breakfast was very basic. Not enough seats to accommodate the guests. The air conditioner in the room was on point! We stayed during the heatwave and our room was very cool! I didn’t like that the ice machine was only on the first floor. We were on the second floor. Had to wait for someone to greet us at the front desk. Overall would stay again if just passing thru."

"The property was one block down from downtown Manistee and we were right on the water. The room was fairly comfortable. It was rustic, but very clean. The host were extremely accommodating and understanding after my husband spilled coffee on their bed. I offered to pay for the sheets or the padding that may have been ruined and they said absolutely no, and actually laughed at me but told me how much they appreciated me telling them. I would definitely go there again."

"The room was very cute, with a cabin type vibe. The bathroom was small, but plenty of space to get ready in front of a mirror. We played the 9 hole golf course, which was fun and more challenging than expected- a hidden gem! The pool and hot tub were both warm and very clean, with a deck area for relaxing. The only caveat was the dining area is only open for breakfast and lunch during the summer months. Not a big deal though since there were so many restaurants around to choose from. We will...

"Pros… updated, clean, nicely decorated - people when in office were helpful… but… Cons… (1) contact phone number from Expedia was old / incorrect/ went to an unmonitored email so my 5 requests left to VM requesting an additional day were not answered. Needed to book elsewhere for the 4th (2) while the name says Coastal Suites and Resort… it was not coastal (limited access to crystal lake and not convenient), not a suite… at best a small motel room, and definitely not a resort (3) very pricey...

"My stay at the Hampton was absolutely amazing! I can't rave enough about our stay. Perfect location makes commute in town quick and easily accessible. Pool was open late, and the onsite Beach Bar was perfect! Very family friendly overall. My family and I visit annually and plan on making all of our future visits, to stay at the Hampton! Thank you for such a memorable time!"

"Great stay, checked us in early and had amenities that were fun and easy to use. Could see during the busy times where it may be hard to used the shared space but we had no problems. Would recommend for a trip or just a quick stay as well. Clean easy check in and out."
