Weda and Eka were amazing - beautifully cooked fresh food, packed a takeaway breakfast for an early morning dolphin swim, shuttle into town for free, the best home made kombucha I've ever tried and discounts on local eateries. Sadly, no hot water the whole time we were there. I raised it but it wasn't fixed and despite paying an extra person charge when booking, we were then charged again but still no water issues fixed. The service was exceptional, but it was the people who made our stay unforgettable. Efa deserves special recognition. The warmth, patience, and genuine care Efa showed us made us feel truly valued, never like just another reservation. Efa was one of the biggest reasons this trip meant so much to us. Efa and Indra did far more than drive us around Bali. They shared their stories, answered our countless questions, and taught us about Balinese culture, religion, traditions, and everyday life. They helped us understand their home rather than simply see it. Those conversations turned a beautiful holiday into something deeply meaningful. I genuinely feel I grew as a person through this experience. Thank you also to Boy, Buda, Eddy, and the kitchen team for helping make our stay so special. Lovina will always have a place in my heart, and The Lovina is somewhere I want to return to again and again—not only for the destination, but for the people and how they made us feel.
