"Overall my room was nice. However at check in I was asked to provide a card for pre-authorisation. I’ve been asked many times before but on this occasion $300 was taken from my account immediately. On checking out I was told this will take between 5-10 days to be returned to me. On a holiday budget this wasn’t ideal. Also breakfast each day was always the same. No one made any special effort to offer tea or coffee or to make anything different at all.
Positives were that the room was spacious,...

"On checking in for the 3 nights were we advised there was no parking available & had to park at the convention center (high cost); disappointing being you can't book a car park so it's first come basis. We were then also quizzed about the car we had as they thought we had illegally parked out the front.
Listing stated daily housekeeping yet reception informed us it's only every 3 days?? Not what I paid for.
Found the staff short & poor communicators.
Would not stay again."

"I did have a problem with the kettle. Unless you held the button down until it started to heat it would click off again. I did have to ask for more teabags one day as housekeeping had not restocked.
Otherwise it was a nice hotel not too far to walk to Barrack Street for my tour pick-ups - about 15 minutes. All in all a very nice hotel."
