"This is definite faded grandeur. The ground floor looks and feels beautiful but the rest of the hotel is tatty - not helped by a lack of cleaning In some of the common parts. Staff were slightly taciturn, but we went out of season and they might have been busy doing other things. The location though is fantastic and, crucially, there is a good breakfast! This hotel could be so much better with some love. As it is, it is over priced."

We arrived after 22:00 in full darkness and woke up to the sounds of birds with a gentle breeze coming through the double doors on the balcony looking out over the mountains to the Mediterranean Sea. You eat breakfast overlooking the pool on a covered stone patio. Breakfast items vary from eggs and bacon to homemade apple cake and bread to freshly picked grapes and figs.
