Owner recommended the rooftop restaurant for evening dinner, stunning 14 authentic Sri Lankan dishes cooked to perfection by far the best meal we have had all trip. "You must read-up on what to expect at the queen’s hotel. It may or may not be for you. It feels like stepping back in time. The place is a little shabby in places but if you want to have that feeling of living a bit of history it delivers. It’s an excellent location and the staff are all friendly and helpful. The pool offers a break from the noise of town and just generally- bring your ear plugs! We really enjoyed our stay."
