"Compliments for Reception Staff Jannah, Jagjeet and Housekeeping Team : Dear Management of AC Hotels by Marriott Ipoh, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service provided during my recent stay at your hotel, from 16th January to 18th January. A special thank you to Jannah at the reception for her warm welcome, professionalism, and attentiveness. She was courteous, efficient, and always ready to assist with a genuine smile, which made the check-in and overall experience truly pleasant. Also a big thank you to Jagjeet for placing the slice of birthday cake in our room so that i may surprise my best friend on her birthday! I would also like to commend the housekeeping team for the birthday decorations as well as maintaining the room in impeccable condition. The cleanliness, attention to detail, and consistency throughout my stay did not go unnoticed and greatly enhanced my comfort. "One of the better hotel in the town"

"The overall cleanliness of the room was below acceptable standards. The furniture was poorly maintained and felt outdated, as if sourced from second-hand stores many years ago. The in-room safe was not functioning properly. Breakfast was extremely disappointing. The food was cold, the selection was very limited, and birds were eating directly from the buffet tables, which raised serious hygiene concerns. We dined at three different restaurants during our stay, and the food quality was consistently low. The professionalism of the service staff was also lacking. On one occasion, I observed staff carrying food with their thumbs inside the bowls, directly touching the food. Service was difficult due to communication issues. Several waiters avoided eye contact when we tried to request items, and some did not speak English, making basic interactions challenging. The only positive aspect of this hotel is its beautiful location and breathtaking landscape. Unfortunately, this alone does not compensate for the poor standards in cleanliness, food quality, and service. I cannot recommend this hotel."
