"There are two Kakwele Lodges. The one we stayed at was further from the airport in a back street of Lusaka, about a 20 minute drive. We were charged $15 for each of the 4 journeys to and from the airport, which I considered to be excessive.
The room at the lodge was adequate, but a little cramped (especially the shower). Lighting was dim with no bedside or desk light. There were broken loose tiles around the small pool.
Service was friendly but less than prompt.

"The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The garden was really lovey and the pool was a good treat
. Mosquito nets didn't fit well, probably not used much. Wifi and tv(dstv) didn't work.
The reception was good and food was very tasty "
"Our stay was amazing, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff took time to take us round that was very unique. I particularly like the tiling of the floors and walls."
