"After spending 18 days in various hostels around Japan, and hundreds of days around the world, this one had been my absolute favorite. The best sleep I have gotten on my trip and the breakfast was an amazing treat. Walking distance to most sights."

"It is a clean and spacious house with a great view of Mt. Fuji especially in the morning. Be quiet though, especially when outside, so as not to distrub the not-so-friendly neighbors."

"Cute place just 5 minutes drive to Lake Kawaguchiko. We were able to see Mt Fuji from our unit. Wished we had 1 more extra day."

"Amazing stay, great communication, near shops and restaurants "

"Great experience!"

"Owner was very nice and it's got a nice view of Fujisan. "

"It is a nice, clean simple hotel. Staff was helpful and the room was fairly spacious. My complaints are: (1) the breakfast was well below average for a hotel, and (2) the location is, well, in the middle of nowhere."

"Amazing Mt. Fuji view! Nice , modern interior. Make sure yo have small car, since the local streets are pretty tight."

"Michael and his wife, Kotoha, are genuinely lovely people. They were incredibly warm, friendly and accommodating, and made me feel very welcome during my stay. The hostel itself is very well kept, exceptionally clean and tidy, with great facilities and everything you need for a comfortable stay. I really enjoyed my time here and would 100% stay again. Highly recommended."

"Great place, pillows were hard as a rock, didn’t get any sleep."

"Great"

"Onsen & Location is really nice"

"We arrived late in the day. Most shops were closed."

"clean and tidy . good environment "

"全体的にとても清潔感は感じられたのでいい旅ができました。 敷地内駐車場までの道がとても狭いのと、部屋の中に虫が沢山いたのでそこは残念でした。"

"This property was a treat to stay in, especially for the price. The traditional futons made for a quiet, relaxing evening before a busy day of touring Fujiyoshida. I was a huge fan of the wood floor bathroom and wooden bathtub as well. I would recommend spring or summer stays, as the traditional construction means it will be quite cold in the winter, but it was a lovely stay and I would recommend this to anyone visiting Mt. Fuji."

"I like you veything . I have lots of difficultés in comuniation and I arrive to the wrong place and no way to get I. Touch with no body, till one of the guess in that location was very helpful and get i. Touch with the people in charge and pick me at the location with the same name, litke frustration because I was traveling from Korea and it was 9,30 pm , so I say great service but I thought line all my reservations, that I was going to have my own bathroom. Other that well nanti e place👍"

"Expedia claims check-in is at 10am. It is not. Check-in is at 3pm. They are short staffed, so the front desk is unattended while they are cleaning rooms. I sat in the lobby for an hour before a staff member came by and told me I couldn't check in until 3pm."
