"Very nice hotel arrived very very early but were allowed to check in and go to bed. Extremely pleasant staff comfy room With good size bathroom. Nice breakfast in the rooftop restaurant with great views of the Shwendagon pagoda. Just across the road from the park and lake. Do try the Indian restaurant in the park Aroma 2. Walkable to most places of interest about half an hour to the station. Highly recommended. Do stay here."

"Of the hundreds of hotels that I’ve stayed at in Asia over the past 20 years this is one of the very best! And I so wish I could stay at the Chatrium again in the future, because pretty much everything was perfect. The only problem is some highly inappropriate material displayed in the main reception area, and so in good conscience I cannot ever stay at this fine hotel in the future. "Great location on quiet street and 5-minute walk to Kandawgyi Park and 15-minute walk to Shwedagon Pagoda. Good water pressure and hot shower. Room was clean. Staff friendly and helpful with adequate English ability. "
