"Lovely hotel right on the water staff as lovely tradition of lighting candles and nice welcome juice . Close enough to walk to where you need to go also good breakfast "
"My room was spacious clean and modern. It was very safe and quiet. Breakfast was provided and was excellent. It is located 15 minute walk up steep road from city centre. Easy walking down and cheap uber tuk tuk ride back up the hill after leaving city center. I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Kandy."
"This is a nice little hotel in a great location. Our room was large and comfortable. Things were clean and the staff was very accommodating.
Breakfast was good. And you have your choice of a western breakfast or a Sri Lankan breakfast."
"You must read-up on what to expect at the queen’s hotel. It may or may not be for you. It feels like stepping back in time. The place is a little shabby in places but if you want to have that feeling of living a bit of history it delivers. It’s an excellent location and the staff are all friendly and helpful. The pool offers a break from the noise of town and just generally- bring your ear plugs! We really enjoyed our stay."
"We had a short stopover at Blue Mountain. The view was fantastic! The hotel invested in good quality fixtures: the rooms are spacious, the pool and garden terrace very nice and the bathroom with a view worth it. It’s overall comfortable and clean. Food served was also good and staff was attentive to our needs. I would rank Blue Moutain higher than most accommodations in Sri Lanka, and it would need just a bit more efficiency and attention to details to qualify for high-end.

"A gem of a place - everything was delightful, from the room, to the lovely infinity pool, the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to help, and the excellent food. We loved staying here. "
"This hotel is well situated in the city but is Spartan in the extreme.
Literally one tiny bar of soap.
Tired and damaged fittings and soft coverings.
Wifi dial-up speeds."
"Hotel was comfortable, safe, and they had onsite driver accommodations (apparently a thing in Sri Lanka). We didn't get to stay here long enough, and there was a festival that made the streets incredibly crowded. I wish we had the chance to explore the area more, however we made our way down (per the hotel's recommendation) to dinner at Hideout Lounge, and then back to the hotel. The pool is small and we weren't enticed to use it. Breakfast in the morning is offered as a buffet with plenty of...
