Hilton Garden Inn Chesterton
8/10 Good
"Right off the highway, yet close enough to both the Indiana Dunes State and National Parks that we were able to make multiple trips to both during our short stay. Highly recommend Wagners, local restaurant, for the rib dinner."
"We had a great stay. The room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space to take our pets out. The property is located in a nice, quiet area, which made for a relaxing visit. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again."
"The room was clean upon arrival, which is always nice. The lobby and common areas were clean and tidy as well. The parking lot and landscaping could use some work.
The pool has a strange water dripping from the ceiling above, and was closed on the second day of our three day stay, but at least we got to use it a couple of times.
The TV guide was not working, but the digital guide and hotel information was helpful.
Luckily the hotel was not busy because only one elevator seemed to be working at the time we were there. It was not a problem for us.
The free breakfast was good enough, not the best I've had but not the worst.
Overall, id recommend this hotel for a budget friendly option in the area"
