We stayed here because it's one of the very few hotels in Kaohsiung with verified king size beds.
The location is quite a bit off public transport and only few restaurants nearby, but a convenience store is right across the street and the harbor view is great.
Other than that, our stay was very disappointing because of too many issues:
- The rooms have a good size but lack pretty much any amenities; they didn't even provide hand soap dispensers in the bathroom so we had to get body wash from the shower.
- The bathroom ceiling is extremely low (maximum 2m I'd guess) making showing very inconvenient and generally giving a bad feeling.
- There was heavy mold on the bathroom ceiling.
- Shower water pressure was very weak.
- Room was not thoroughly cleaned, with huge accumulation of dust behind the tv.
- We found multiple exposed electric wires in the room and bathroom.
- The safety chain of the door was just decoration and not usable.
- The wifi quality was awful with constant interruptions and the need to enter the cryptic username/password again and again; for one full day it didn't work at all (when we called staff it worked for 2-3 minutes and then not again).
- You can't leave the building without the room key card which I consider a safety risk.
- For breakfast you have to leave the building and enter through another door again, although apparently there would be a direct connection but not allowed to be used.
- Breakfast quality and variety was very poor.
