This sculpture in Kelly Ingram Park in Birmingham, Alabama depicts a vicious dog attack during the civil rights protests in 1963. This sculpture is very effective.  I got chills walking through and imagining what it just have been like. #civilrights #historymatters

Police and Dog Attack - a sculpture at ground level that is made up of two opposing metal walls with three vicious dogs that lunge at you as you pass between them the way the dogs did at the 1963 demonstration. It's effect is profound and moving.
