Most of the trees lining the riverside in Osaka at the park are of this variety!

Along the riverside of Osaka, one of the very best spots for hanami! It stretches all the way to Japan Mint which will have a mid April bloom next week; the Mint garden only opens on April 11 onwards and the Sakura here are absolutely gorgeous! I went there over 10 years ago and it's one of the best in Japan!
