"The property is well maintained, and the staff is friendly, professional, and very helpful. The rooms, however, are on the small side for what the hotel charges, and there is no beach. They do have a very nice pool area, but it gets quite busy during the day. The pool is fantastic in the early morning, with soft background music and a relaxing atmosphere. Around noon, a DJ starts playing at the bar, and the constant techno-style beat can be overwhelming if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing pool experience. The cabanas and daybeds are also significantly overpriced, ranging from $400 to $600 per day. The hotel is located on a small island, about a 10-minute drive from the wharf area, which is convenient enough but not within easy walking distance. Overall, it's a nice hotel, but in my opinion, it is substantially overpriced for what it offers. When compared with a resort like The Boca in Boca Raton, which is in a similar price range, this property falls well short in terms of amenities and overall value. My impression is that you simply don't get enough for the money."

"Very clean rooms and facilities. Spacious rooms, and enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. The staff were friendly and it was a great location, being close to the casino. There was also a free shuttle service offered, along with continental breakfast. The lady taking care of the breakfast lady was very attentive and friendly. Overall a good stay."

"We specifically asked for pet friendly area for our 2 rescues when we booked hotel. We were told large grassy fenced in area by pool. Once at property we were then told we could not use this area and had to go outside in front of hotel with cars passing and construction debris. The staff was nice about it, but it made the trip difficult. We were also put in a room with a barn oor to bathroom that would not fully close and asked to be moved to another room. The staff was accommodating and the updates were nice we just wish we had been told property was under construction and truly not pet friendly as hoped."

"The atmosphere of the place is very cool, and I've stayed here several times, but as a converted mill, be prepared for concrete walls, visible piping in the ceiling, etc. That's all part of its ambiance, just don't expect "quaint". Also be prepared, parking is an additional $12. When I originally started coming here there was no parking charge, about a year ago they began charging."
