"A lovely old world pub, the highest in Britain.
Lovely ambience, cosy bar areas and nice rooms. Just a few scruffy areas like the carpet going up to the accommodation and the ceiling and floor of the bathroom sliding door area. However it is understandable with being a busy pub with people with work boots and walking boots constantly in and out.
The food was good, with lots of choice and well cooked.
We had a slight blip checking in but it was sorted out quickly and efficiently.

"Great traditional pub in the centre of town, Bedrooms look to have been recently refurbished and were very clean and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent. "
